On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is my great pleasure to invite you cordially to attend the International Heart Forum Beijing 2005，to be held in Beijing, China on September 16-18, 2005, organized by the National Center for Cardiovascular Diseases Prevention and Research of China (NCCD) and jointly hosted by Beijing Fu Wai Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences , Peking Union Medical College and Massachusetts General Hospital, USA.
The forum is going to be the largest and the most comprehensive conference in the cardiovascular field in featuring the latest developments in all areas of cardiovascular diseases, including basic, clinical, and population aspects in China.
Distinguished scientists will be invited to present their original scientific works and clinicians will debate the hottest topics for day to day clinical practice. In addition, the Forum will provide the opportunity for all attendees to exchange information on education, translation of the basic scientific results into clinical practice, cardiologist training, public policy in cardiovascular field. The organizer wishes to bridge the gap between academy and industry in bringing governmental officials and other professionals together and looking ahead with industrial executives at our potential future progress, development and collaborations in fighting cardiovascular diseases and to address the regional and ethnic similarities and differences in the incidence, prevalence, risk factors and prevention of the disease.
