Dear Delegate

I am writing to welcome you to the 2005 IHF Forum and to provide you with some information,
which I hope will prove useful to you upon arrival in Beijing.

Airport Pick-up
Staffs with IHF Logo & banner will be available at the lobby of Beijing International Airport.
Please be informed that airport could only be arranged upon the arrival information duly
reached by Secretariat prior to your arrival in Beijing.

Catering at Social Events
If you have special dietary requirements; eg, you are a vegetarian or Muslim meals please
ensure that you inform me prior to your arrival in Beijing. We cannot guarantee your needs will
be catered for if we are not informed in advance.

Check-In/Check-Out Times
Earliest check-in time at the majority of hotels is 1400 hrs and you must vacate your room by
1200 hrs on the day of departure. Please contact me if early check in is needed.

Liability
The Forum Secretariat and Organizers cannot accept liability for personal accidents, loss of or
damage to private property of participants, students and accompanying persons, either during,
or directly arising from the 2005 IHF Forum. Participants should make their own arrangements
with respect to health and travel insurance.

Local Tours
Organizer has scheduled following sightseeing routes. Booking will be available upon your
arrival at Registration Counter, please be informed, travel agent will cancel the tour if
attendants are less than TEN.

Meals
Meals during the forum (from the evening of Sept. 15 till the evening of Sept. 18, 2005 ) will be
provided by the organizer. Meal coupons will be issued upon registration.

Opening Ceremony
Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception will take place at The Great Hall of the People in
the afternoon of September 16. Shuttle bus will leave Beijing Hotel for Opening Ceremony at
1330 hrs. Invitation Card will be asked at entrance of the venue. Video cameras are prohibited
within The Great Hall of the People.

Registration
Registration for the 2005 IHF Forum will take place in the LOBBY of Beijing Hotel. Registration
will be open as follows:

September 15, 2005 1000-1200 hrs, 1300-1800 hrs
September 17-18, 2005 0830-1200 hrs, 1300-1800 hrs

Weather
Beijing is located in the temperate zone and enjoys a continental monsoon climate. Early
September is the best season of the year with maximum temperature of 32.3 degree Celsius,
minimum temperature of 4.9 degree Celsius and average temperature of 19.1 degree Celsius.
Medium and light dress is recommended.
